Since a young age I've always been active and involved in anything that could burn the copious amounts of energy within me. It ranged from baseball, football, ice skating, Aikido and fencing, but ultimately I found my passion with Aikido, fencing and other martial arts. After being able to fence for Vassar College I chased leads with respect to film and television. My first background role was in 2017 with the film "Then Came You," and that changed my career path and perspective. I realized that film is where I needed to be but I needed to specify as to what my specialization would be. During the set of, "The Dead Don't Die," I watched the Stunt Coordinator Manny Siverio direct and guide the performance of the actors and work to ensure the safety of others. The thought of being a Coordinator or a Stuntman mesmerized me, and I asked for advice and guidance which he generously provided. It clicked. I had found my passion and fortunately it aligned with my skillset that I developed in the previous years. Since then I have worked on various non-union film projects to bolster my resume for the transition into full time Union work. I mainly specialize stunts or choreography with various martial arts styles, designed around the talent and their ability. I am also extremely adept in falls and instruction to their execution, but I never instruct above a person's ability, including my own. Although the process of filmmaking is enthralling and liberating, nothing is worth the price of one's health or safety. I carry this mentality whether serving as a stunt person or as a Coordinator, the safety and well being of all participants should always be the main priority.
